About EnTel

Founded in 2009, Maryland-based EnTel is an emerging leader in utility management systems, energy optimization services, and other utility solutions. The company's initial focus on reselling a single "light commercial" energy management system was impacted by the fact that its early clients often lacked the resources or expertise to take full advantage of the value of their own new-found capabilities and the associated data. As a complement to the ability to generate an immense amount of data for grid operators, EnTel expanded into helping utilities assess, develop, manage and enhance their Demand Side management programs and roll out their Smart Grid programs. Eventually our new utility partnership focused on tracking dynamic energy costs; the inclusion of energy optimization services became as important to our utility management system business as the hardware itself.

Our mission has evolved into a growing aggregation of a variety of services and applications for both the utilities and utility customers.
